We’re pleased to share the second edition of the Nerospec SK Newsletter for 2026, featuring the latest milestones in underground mining automation, positioning technology, and project delivery.
This edition highlights the continued progress of our fully autonomous underground loader, which has now successfully moved more than 12,300 tonnes of material, completed nearly 1,000 autonomous loading cycles, and travelled over 170 km autonomously, all without requiring continuous network connectivity or human supervision.
We also introduce neroUPS, Nerospec SK’s new Underground Positioning System, designed to provide reliable localization and positioning in GPS-denied underground environments, creating the foundation for safer and more efficient automation.
In addition, we announce the launch of our newly redesigned website, offering expanded insights into our automation technologies, positioning solutions, safety systems, and latest project developments.
